The Suunto Ambit3 Peak is one of the 3 latest offering by Suunto with it being the top-end model of the three. These 3 watches are fully-packed with features as well as fully customizable, powerful and offers good water resistance. They’ve got a heart rate monitor that should continue to track your heart rate even if you go for a swim.
In addition to that, the watch can also serve as a timer, an activity tracker, and as a stopwatch. The watch also comes with custom apps to make it easier to use. I’d say this is one of the best GPS watch to wear whenever you go out for running, hiking, swimming or just simply working out in the gym. Its activity tracking is pretty much accurate all across the board and I’ve really no complaints about its tracking features.
Design-wise, I would like the Ambit3 Peak to look more pleasing. It’s certainly not the best when it comes aesthetics but it doesn’t matter to me because the Peak is purely a sports watch and not a casual or business watch. The buttons are so convenient and the menus are so easy to access. The strap is rather comfortable despite of its build quality. One thing that bothers me though is that the watch is big and bulky. It will definitely feel awkward when you wear it on a small wrist.
Overall, the watch is so easy to use because everything is in the right places. There is also a button lock that is incredibly handy especially if you are working out. The button lock will prevent the watch from accidentally stopping while it is tracking your working.
